A privacy-conscious assistant that listens several times before judging once.
Anubis grew out of Ceribot, an earlier consent-first AI experiment, but its product brief was simpler: Aria was learning Dutch and needed help in the place she already used every day—Discord.
The grading is deliberately kind. Several recognition passes vote before pronunciation and meaning are evaluated, because punishing a learner for one model’s uncertainty is a good way to make them stop practising.

A real learner needed low-friction A1 speaking practice without harsh penalties for recognition errors.
How I untangled itThe turning point
IND questions become Dutch TTS audio. Several STT passes of a voice reply are normalized into consensus before semantic and pronunciation evaluation.
What changedWhere it landed
A Discord-native flow tuned to encourage continued practice; Flutter expansion is planned.
