Learning Unity and C# by shipping a playable prototype
An early 2D mobile prototype with physics, powerups, combos and a web scoreboard.
I was handed a rough game outline, one pixel artist and a request for a proof of concept. I barely knew C#, so Unity physics, colliders, power-ups, combo logic, APIs and a scoreboard server became both implementation and education.
What I walked intoThe setup
Build a complete playable PoC while learning Unity and C# on the job.
How I untangled itThe turning point
I owned gameplay, physics, powerups, combo logic, API communication and the scoreboard backend.
What changedWhere it landed
A playable PoC was completed. It was never commercially released and is presented honestly as early-career work.
